Examples of the documents required

The following 3 declarations must be submitted to Leth Suez Transit, Norway immediately when issued.

Please note that original documents needs to be received by Suez Canal Authority not later than six months after transit.
Otherwise the rebate granted will be canceled.

Document 1 - Port of Origin

To Suez Canal Authority, Ismailia
This is to certify that MV ........... call sign....... arrived the port of ....on the....
in (ballast/laden) with....tons of (cargo)........ .left the port of......on the......in ballast/laden) with total.....tons of (cargo) ........ bound for....... (port)

Document 2 - Port of Destination

To Suez Canal Authority, Ismailia
This is to certify that MV.....call sign.....arrived the port of ....on the....
in (ballast/laden) with total....tons of (cargo)........in order to discharge/load ......mtons, and left the port of.....on the.....

(For both above mentioned certs, original signature and stamp
by Port Authority or Customs Office are required)

Document 3 - Owners certificate

SCA also needs a certificate by owners or operators of vessel:

To Suez Canal Authority, Ismailia
We, the owners/charterers of the MV........ declare that the vessel did
not call any intermediate port for any cargo operation during her
voyage from.....to..... (+ dates) ports.

Thus, we hereby request SCA to release the granted....% reduction on Canal
Tolls for her Suez Canal transit on.....(date)

Leth Suez Transit Ltd originally negotiated the rebate and arranged for the
vessels Suez Canal transit. Please therefore refund granted rebate to Leth
Suez transit's general account.

Document 4 - Port of Bunkering

SCA also needs a certificate from port of bunkering:

To Suez Canal Authority, Ismailia
This is to certify that MV.....call sign.....arrived the port of ....on the....for bunkering purposes only, and left the port of.....on the.......

(Signature and stamp in original by Port Authority or Customs Office are required)
